Tutorials: Explaindio Video Creator V2
Importing Slide Packs
Importing Single Slides
If there has been a change to a particular slide in a Slide Pack, or a supplementary slide has been added to the Pack, rather than re-downloading and re-importing the entire Pack as shown above, you can insert slide files directly into your Explaindio application folder on your PC or Mac.
Windows
1. Navigate to where Explaindio is installed (usually Program Files folder)
2. Open folder called “Explaindio Video Creator 2” and then “slides” sub folder
3. Locate the Slide Pack folder you want to put the single slide in and add the bare, unzipped file i.e. ending in .vfs to that folder. You can download directly to the folder, copy and paste from a previous download location, or drag and drop the file.
4. Return to Explaindio and the file will now be available inside your Slide menu.
Mac
1. Navigate to where Explaindio is installed (usually Applications folder)
2. Right click “ExplaindioVideoCreator2” and choose “Show package contents”
3. Open “Contents” folder, then open “Resources” folder, then open “slides” folder
4. Locate the Slide Pack folder you want to put the single slide in and add the bare, unzipped file i.e. ending in .vfs to that folder. You can download directly to the folder, copy and paste from a previous download location, or drag and drop the file.
5. Return to Explaindio and the file will now be available inside your Slide menu.

Branding Video Outro Stingers With Explaindio
The above video was created for Explaindio V2. If you're using V3, please watch to 0:58 and then follow these written instructions which are specific to V3:
- There is no default for how the text should behave in V3 so you will need to go to the Timeline and choose “Add New Effect”. I would recommend “Fade In”.
- Left click on the text block in the Timeline and drag it right so it starts at approximately 3 seconds. This is just a starting point and you'll more than likely need to tweak and adjust as you see how the scene is going to play out.
- Click on the “Effects” Tab and drag the “Pause After Action” slide to around 244 frames (10 secs) or however long you want the scene to remain on the screen.
- You can watch the Scene playing out and if necessary adjust the “Pause After Action” slider accordingly.
- Resume Video at 1:39
