Hi I'm Chrissy  

This is me...

I live in a country town called Chinchilla (famous for it's Melon Festival!) in the Western Downs of Queensland (down-under in Oz), and have been making a living from home for the past 20 years (on and off!)

I've always been “glass half-full” kind of person, I love a challenge and getting to the root of things.  I also love puzzles (anything word-based – be gone suduko!), Brit-cop shows and bingeing on Netflix when time allows. 

I started my first business from scratch way back in 2001.  It was an e-commerce store selling low-carb and sugar-free food, treats and desserts, mainly imported from the US. It was a heck of a learning curve at times, but six years later we were successful enough to be accepted as temporary Business Migrants to Australia. ✈️

The Queensland Govt gave us four years to “make a go” of running a business in Australia, otherwise we'd have to pack our bags and go back to the UK (no pressure then!).  

We bought an embroidery kiosk in a shopping center, expanding from walk-bys wanting personalized caps and towels, to supplying workwear and digitizing logos for local business owners.  

Fast forward to today and we're proud to be Australian Citizens  and I'm loving working from home again, copywriting, creating content and getting creative with videos and graphics.  

I've created several websites for local businesses, as well as web content, and I script and create videos and have launched several video based products of my own and in partnership with others.

There's always a way ……if there's a will!
